India : A Developing Undeveloped country

From last few months I have been travelling few parts of India, though i didn't cover all the country, I traveled to some important places across the sub-continent. I love India no matter what, It's rich culture resembles India and it's diversity and religious describes it's state in the world stage. India is always a great country with huge history which also shared half of the world's GDP with china in the history. But today, it is entirely different, it has two faces : The North and The South.

"India is the cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legend, and the great-grandmother of tradition. Our most valuable and most instructive materials in the history of man are treasured up in India only." - Mark Twain

Even though these two parts are different in terms of langues, culture and ways, they have same problems. With the population of 133.92 crores (2017) India doesn't even have some basic sources like Toilets, Good buses, railways, unemployment, over population etc.

Many counties have problems and they are dealing with it, but we here are adjusting instead of thinking on how to solve it. We still travel in those closed buses and walk on those worse roads.

Of course there are some good places like Mumbai,Delhi. They also has another side of their coin. Even though Government take actions we are not at all ready to take those. Consider for example - Toilets, Governments built public toilets in bus stations, railways and some other places in the city - still they are worse in maintenance which causes diseases. I think we shouldn't entirely depend on government to change, we should initiate the start.

Coming to technology, I have encountered people who doesn't even know what "Artificial Intelligence" is (who are graduated). We here are making reusable tissue papers whereas china is building autonomous robots which can charge itself. There is a huge difference in ideas here which reflects on our G.D.P too and It is because no lack of good education. Every student wants to learn something important but the colleges and universities doesn't have appropriate syllabus to teach which comes lack of talent and leads to unemployment who gradually moves to other countries for higher studies which is quite good.

It's pretty hard for the system to change but it's we as an individual should take responsibility to change. The mindset of an individual Indian is still stereotype in growth and average when compared to Chinese and Japanese. Why? because we are still in our orthodox cultures like caste and religion. People should stop thinking emotionally and should start thinking logically.

Having thousands of weapons and war machines with the kings in India can't get us Independence from the British but with out a single weapon a guy called Gandhi united us and became the man behind independence. It's not the materials you have it's the mindset you possess.

After our Independence we doesn't even produce a single Entrepreneur who put this world a better place whereas countries like America and China produced many ones who literally changed this world. The another main problem for not producing these are, we tend to copy ideas. Once Peter Theil (Paypal co founder) said "Asia copies the west" which is quite true but he also said China and Japan stopped it , we are the only ones who are continuing. Our ideas are still no at all great. We have to move forward, see the world where it is heading to.

But, I am quite happy with some of the students in India who at least are trying to learn and start new things now. If it continues India will change for sure.
