Pondicherry, The French Colony you aren't aware of.

When was the last time you spent a quiet moment just doing nothing - just sitting and looking at the sea, or watching the wind blowing the tree limbs, or waves rippling on a pond, a flickering candle or children playing in the park ?

Waves around you, sky is up, sun is yet to come & leaving your sorrows across the roads of pondi and exploring with it's french culture.

" Pondicherry (or Puducherry), a French colonial settlement in India until 1954, is now a Union Territory town bounded by the southeastern Tamil Nadu state. Its French legacy is preserved in its French Quarter, with tree-lined streets, mustard-colored colonial villas and chic boutiques. A seaside promenade runs along the Bay of Bengal and passes several statues, including a 4m-high Gandhi Memorial.

Pondicherry, simply called as pondi. Tons of places, restaurants and the smell of beaches across the city it is still in my mind and I am pretty much excited when I went.

It was 7 in the morning when we reached there which is near a beach named Rock Beach and it is so big but I can't believe that I am touching the tale of Bay of Bengal which I read from my social books during my schooling.

As it is a little far from the new bus stop we took another bus to reach a street near by the beach and the vibes of early in the morning are amazing. I was just sitting on one of the rocks and looking into the eyes of Bay of Bengal, trust me it is best feeling I ever had in my life. Try it once your life and thank me later.

Once the sun welcomed us it look like it was designed for us and we felt the day is ours and we started our day exploring pondi starting from taking a bike for rent.
